Att. M. Samet Fidan

Born in 1988, M. Samet Fidan graduated from the Faculty of Law at Istanbul Bilgi University, where he ranked first. He is currently pursuing his master's degree in Economic Law at Istanbul Bilgi University. Mr. Fidan worked as a lawyer and intern at various local and international partnership law firms. In this process, especially, company establishments, mergers, type changes, share transfers, asset transfers, commercial enterprise transfers, company general assemblies, company boards of directors, licensing processes of companies, writing shareholders' agreements, investment processes of enterprises, legal works and transactions in the field of financing companies and projects, due diligence processes required by companies, investors, shareholders, copyright, trademark, patent and design, Fidan has handled infringement cases arising from all kinds of intellectual property rights, cancellation of infringement, cancellation of patent trademark re-examination evaluation board decisions,  cancellation of trademark invalidity, design invalidity and patent invalidity cases, material damages, moral damages, reputational damages, ref compensation cases arising from infringement.

Fidan also handled contracts, legal risk analysis due diligence processes in insurance and reinsurance processes, personal data compliance processes, policy drafting, drafting disclosure texts and explicit consent statements, VERBIS registration, legal audit in the field of personal data, determination of the legal compliance of documents and processes and organization according to the necessary regulations in the context of KVKK and GDPR, Fidan has actually carried out many civil and criminal cases, including annulment lawsuits regarding the decisions of the institution and the evaluation of the decisions of the institution, the establishment of policies in the field of special categories of personal data, the organization of disclosure texts and explicit consent processes, and has established and organized teams in this field.

Having successfully completed the trademark agent examination organized by the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office in 2019, Fidan holds the title of trademark attorney.

Fidan also has many academic publications in the fields he specialized in.
